I'm getting annoyed with all these people. Like when myself or someone else posts something, they go, 'Oh, you're only 15, what do you know.' Or something to that effect.
my kids would agree, its as if people think kids have no right to think or feel anything. Since when do u have to wait till you're 18 or any magic age to know something.
It's not like I think i'm better or smarter or anything like that. They just feel the need to say it for what reason? Is it because they have no better defense or something? I don't know.
I think in general, people don't value a younger person's opinions or thoughts because they haven't had a whole lot of life experience. Don't take it personally or anything...
I'm not talking about intelligence...I'm talking about life experiences...most of these kids are in high school...do you think they have any idea what it's like to be out in the real world? Paying bills and all that? Some yes...most NO. There are always exceptions to the rule, I just believe that someone who is 15, can't possibly know what it's like to be a college student or a parent or anything like that (some yes, MOST no)...So in some cases...they can't possibly have the answers because they haven't had the experience.
bah experience in life... old people experienced what? how to make donuts, how to use a television.. how electricity travels from a place to another, how a plane functions... all those things that disconnect you from your own person, and into an illusion of everyday life. if you ask me kids are much more aware of life and them "being". theres a lot to learn from kids...theyre the zero, what life is all about, they'll grow old and will have the obligation to change and learn how the "life" we made works...
The fact is, many times if you yourself look back at things you said before, often (at least for me) I'm like "what the hell was I thinking" OR just that the way I said something didn't get my point across very well.
When I was 15 I was smoking a lot of grass and only using the internet as a way to pass time in typing class.
It can also make you very ignorant - like - I dont post in the politics forums very often cos of this - but come on - I'm only 33 years old - whaddya expect? a fountain of wisdom?
im gonna be honest and say i dont really listen to what teens have to say...and sorry if that upsets anyone, just behing honest.... just like how people older then me would say the same thing towards me and i understand completely...
Seriously, you're stupid. Shoddy insults really don't hurt me, and I could go without your posts. If you have anything that actually matters, please say it.
sure fifteen year olds can have common sense, knowledge, opinions, etc and i believe they should be listened to and respected however im typically not gonna go to a fifteen year old for advice on things that happen later in life (as mentioned earlier, situational stuff) because most likely, they havent been there.
