Hey all. im the new guy. was a film major. Im workng out production ofr a small budget film now. here is a list of my best films. Ravenous was plain weird, but cool (saw it a long time ago and don't remember everything), Platoon is very good.. the others I don't think I saw.. A few of my favorites (no particular order): The Samsara (see my review somewhere in this thread) - very spiritual Ong Bak: the Muay Thai Warrior (idem) - excellent martial arts movie Apocalyps Now Redux - amazing shots Nightmare before Christmas - gotta love Tim Burton and Danny Elfman! The Secretary - yeay for fetish? Original concept..
i agree truffaut and godard are two of my favorite filmmakers... along with bergman! i would also vote for apocalypse now over platoon as the best war movie ever made.
