I think some people need it. Badly. If I had money I'd donate to a foundation that was for severely ugly people to look cuter. Like that swan show or whatever. Other people I think do it just to do it, and many people do it far too much. Or to say they go too far with it. I think doctors should refuse to work on certain people and do other cases for free depending on the severity of the ugliness.
well first its the person's choice- i think it would be a great world if everyone could just feel confident with the face and body they have but i also know the world judges people by their looks.. and even if its all in someone's head- if they come to the conclusion that changing something will help them in some way- good for them.... if you're confident enough in a similar body (or im saying if two people had the same feature and one gets surgery and one doesnt)- then even better for you but choice has gone a bit crazy though of course with all the botox and people worrying about little things and um, just look at michael jackson. i spent over ten years seriously considering changing one thing about myself and i go back and forth in what my decision would be but since i dont have the money anways, it doesnt much matter
I am getting my top lip done in late July. Other people think I'm nots but it makes me feel better and it's an inexpensive procedure. Next summer I wanna gift a breast lreduction since they will not go down no matter how much I hit the gym and a tummy tuck because same deal no what amount of work I put in nothing happens there it's frustrating. I know it's vain but I don't care. I'll feel better and I'll forgo other things to make the payments on it.
i know ive put you down before about the botox and stuff but that is really because i dont think you need it at all. but if it really makes you feel better... who am i to judge? espiecially when ive been contemplating getting my nose changed for years and years... i talked a lot to my husband about it though and my nose isnt ideal but its not like horrible... the scary thing about a surgery like that is, they can fuck it up so bad that i dont know if i want it messed with.
i had light therapy to get rid of a little bitty cherry angioma. no one else even noticed that i had it, it was total vanity to have it removed. <shrug> i used to think that plastic surgery was a total waste of time, then i started *gasp* aging. ps, lynsey why do you want botox? you're only 25!
if it could and would make me convincingly and attractively nonhuman looking and it didn't cost me anything to do so ... but really cosmetic surgery has it's place. restoring something other then utter scarry repulsiveness to victums of severe physiological mutilation. but cosmetic surgery AS a cosmetic? get real. you are not your body nor your physical appearance. you are an awairness that uses your tangable form as a means of interacting with the tangable universe our waking hours are spent in. if we could all look like we were 12 years old for 150 years that would be great. but no amount of conventional surgery or physiological therapy is going to do that. it is an investment that could far more gratifyingly be used elsewhere. where it is needed. to the gratification and bennifit of all. each of our individual selves included. =^^= .../\...
Unless it's medically necessary or you're getting D cups, forget it. Live with who you are. Cuz, hey, boobs are important. I gave like $100 to Susan Komin last year.
I think if someone has been in an accident and needs reconstruction...go for it. If a regular person wants 20 different procedures they should first start with examining their head... Some people think that if only they could fix their nose/boobs/chin/eyes/etc then all their problems will go away. And I have to say that botox is scary....have you ever looked at Nicole Kidman? She can't even make a facial expression.
i disagree... i have been considering the nose thing and i know there are no problems that would go away if i changed it. what a generalization. SOME people that do these things know they are what they are and that nothing would be any different except your self confidence and not having people look at you funny.... as of now i choose not to do it cause i love knowing who likes me for me... if i was "perfect" looking id get used much more and no one needs that. thank god for imperfections.
I made no generalizations. I said "some poeple" which is very realistic. And I was talking about the people who get several things done. And it is my opinion that the people who get surgery over and over have a problem that surgery won't fix.
I think building my Blackbeards model pirate ship qualifies me for home plastic surgery. Anyone have a wart on their nose that needs removing? I have airtools...............rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. cheap, real cheap. Bring your own bottle of whiskey.
Alrighty then, I have several tubes of latex caulking and a way to drill holes, I can add flab anywhere you like
i actualy don't find d-cups all that attractive. now if you had three rows of two more modest brests each, the way a cat does, now that would be totaly cool and interesting. i still want a tail that is covered with real live its own fur and totaly functional just the way my arms and legs are controlled by my central nervious system with real mussle tone and agility. =^^= .../\...
