    Hey all:

    Well, I need some "facts" about this.. Next week I'm getting laser eye surgury performed. The eye place told me my weekend is to be spent in a dark room, listneing to music.. I'm ok with this, but,,,, if I'm gonna be chilling listing to music, I would like to smoke a bit. As weed makes your eyes red, I'm wondering if this is a bad idea?

    Anyone know if this is a problem, or if its ok to proceed?

    ask your doctor. or try webmd. i know that after you get your wisdom teeth taken out you cant smoke because you get incredible pain or something im not sure about eye surgery but im sure it'll be better not to smoke

    Yes as smoking weed does blah blah blah to the blood vessels in your eyes I would reccomend not smoking. Or drinking, playing tetris, shootin' up, or hittin' that little pizo you keep hidden under your bed...;)

    just ask the doctor if there are any drugs you shouldn't use before the surgery.

    only thing i can think of would be more bleeding? i don't even know if you bleed during laser surgery...

    Hey guys;

    Thanks for all the suggestions... but... here is what happend. I did it.. had my surgury last Saturday (just came back to work today). Anyhow, in a nutshell.. at first I thought I would be smoking all weekend.. and things would not change.

    The surgury took place Saturday... when I woke up Sunday morning, and looked around, I almost lost my mind... it was the most incredible thing I have ever experienced... I can see again.

    After that, I just realized that even if chances are small things could mess up, it wasnt worth it.. didn't smoke till Monday night... but when I did... it just made me appriciate site even more.. I sat there stoned, looking at the world... and thinking.. this is amazing...

    Thanks guys... seeya!

    It cost just under $2000... had it done in Toronto... however, with work, our insurance coverage is gonna pickup $200 for the surgury, and $65 for the drops and things that come with it... so all together $1735 is out of my pocket...

    Are you in Ontario Gratz? If you or anyone is interested, PM me, and I'll send ya some info on the place I went to!

    peace everyone
