Been looking for rainbow in kansas and haven't had any luck. i tried a site that hooks people up, but I couldn't find anyone there. So if anyone knows any let me know. much love
I will laugh and take that as a big fat hell no. guess we'll have to get some love going here in my part of the country.
if anyone has a recent rainbow guide we can look up some folks for ya (and while your at it look up some folks in oklahoma for a freind too) all my guides have fallen apart..& been tryin to track down anyone with a recent one (utah or more recent preffered) im sure u can find rainbows pretty much anywhere..if u look hard enough
what part of Kansas? there are some folks around Kansas City & some folks in Lawrence; there are even a few folks hidden in Manhatten (KS, that is)... not too many regional events for KS folks since we left
that's my region i live in the capital city not far from lawrence only about 20 or 30 min. would be nice to have something regional. thanks for the response. love
the regionals we used to have were small enough that we could have them out by Clinton Lake, in a corp of engineer fee-free area called Woodridge. Lawrence has some cool festivals; Art in the Park is a hippie fav & there used to be some concerts at Clinton Lake State Park. Just ask folks at The Phil Zone or Creation Station what kind of cool happenings are going on & they'll point you in the right direction. As far as Rainbow events & happenings, the area desperately needs a new focalizer.
Lawrence is cool enough or at least it used to be. I've been to a few things out that way. It has gotten a bit violent for anyone from topeka down there. they ask hey where you from if you tell the truth you might get jumped bunch of nasty frat stuff. I don't know what is involved in being a focalizer, but I'd be willing to help. As soon as I graduate from college i'm opening shop in my own space book/coffee shop/poetry reading and workshops/shows. so, maybe that could be helpful to getting something going up here, hosting events or what not. thanks for the input its hard to know whats going on in the world when you live in topeka. love
