Hello, im a new member I live in Baltimore, Md, USA. I wish i knew about this forum a while ago, I would have been here a long time ago. Well, here it is. I am growing outside and it is my first real season growing. Im not sure of exactly when to start my planting. Here are a few questions i would love answereD:
    1. How long do plants usually take until they bud...and how long do they bud for usually?
    2. Does anyone else live in or arond D? If so, when do you start?
    3. When my last 30 seeds gets here, I will have about 60 seeds. I was going to plant them in individual spots, but i think that will be too much work now. Should i just make about 6 different spots with about 10 plants in each? How would you guys do it?
    4. On average, how much does a normal adult plant yeild.
    5. If you live around my area, is it necessary to force the plants to flower? I really dont want to have to do this....but i have heard i might. My season is from about May 1st (few weeks after first frost) until probably october (last frost). Should this be enough time for the plants to flower naturally?
    6. HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF A WEED STRAIN CALLED "SAGE"? I received it free with an order from LEGENDSSEEDS.
    7. What is an average totaly yeild for an outdoor garden of about 60 plants?

THANKS ALOT AND I WILL BE POSTING MORE AND TRYING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I CAN. THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR SO I REALLY WOULD LOVE SOME HELP. THANKS ALOT GUYS.

Have a read at the thread Rangerdangers guide to guerilla growing. The time untill a plant starts to bud and the time taken to flower is dependand on the seed strain. When the photo period reaches 12/12 of light dark all strains will start to flower, this can take between 42 and upwards of 80 days. Indicas usually flower a lot quicker than sativas. Where ever you purchased your seeds should give you all the info you need as regards what month they should be ready by etc, normally around september/october. If where you live stays fairly warm untill then you shouldnt need to force flower. Don't know what the weather is like in Baltimore are you likely to get frost before october? Same again with the yeild. Varies with strains.
Sage is an excellent strain its a indica/sativa cross think its something like Afgani crossed with Haze probably flowering period will vary somewhat approx 60 days.
As for soil heard a few people recommend foxfarm. I normally mix soil with about 10% pearlite. As mentioned earlier though Rangerdanger is your outdoor man.

Read on rangerdangers guide to outdoor growing that he takes dog shit down to where his plants grow. Generall idea being the deer will smell it and keep away. Never tried it but it sounds a good idea.

i dont have ready access to dog shit...and around here it doesnt deter dear so much once the plants get growin i may sit out there at night with a stick or somethin. its just in my back yard so im not too worried. for my regular garden i blend habenero peppers in water and spray the plants down with that. seems to keep them safe.

cotter, you're going to sit outside at night with a stick for the next 6 months?

Dog shit DOES work if you feed your dog meat.
If you don't have a dog, get one. A dog is an important piece of outdoor growing equip.

i dont like dogs at all....bad experience when i was a youngin...anyway, i just have to keep tabs till june. by that time they move to denser woods. all the same, ive been following the habits of these deer all winter and know exactly what times they come in at night. all i have to do is walk out there in my moccs get a short distance from em, and toss some hearty sticks. no bucks in the herd either. its about a dozen deer that are does and fawns. a couple assaults from me and the does wont be bringing their fawns to bed there anymore.

Go to a barber and ask for hair clippings from the day

If he asks why just tell him deer are eating your grass haha (lawn grass that is ;) )

    Yes, and it works.

That's why it's in the movie.

I mean, the movie didn't invent the idea, it's been around for ages.
