You can't just get others to go on a killing spree for you without a plan, you know.

I would love to be 18 again & do quite a few things over (like get a driver's license at an age when most kids get one)

i'd be establishing perminent canadian citizenship like i wouldhave, couldhave, shouldhave. and wishing as i actualy was, that something like these computers we have now would hurry up and become available (it would be another then years before the beginings of anything like them would be available in a store where you could just buy one, take one home and load applications that were written by someone else). i'd also be going to college studying geology or geophysics because computer drafting was still a long ways from ever becoming popular.

and bitching as i still am about public transportation going to hell in a hand basket and how idiotic it was to be making a god out of the automobile.

i've noticed quit a few of you who may not have been there yet weren't noticing viet nam or civil rights or man on the moon. one big party to get soned at wasn't going on, however much you might wish the world at that time to have been.

no one was cheering us as heros because we wore our hair long, wore peace symbols, or participated in political protest.

then again you COULD stick out your thumb and reasonably expect to get a ride and not get killed doing so.

and a lot of places you COULD still live in an out of code shack and not have to expect it to get torn down the day after you finished putting it up.
