my dog pees when he gets excited

yeah my dog pees all over the place when he gets excited lol. thus i cant really play with him unless i get pee on me how can i make him stop?

 

how old is your dog? still a puppy or older? cant you train him?

yes alot of dogs do do that. i know a women who has a small dog and when we come to her house the dog gets all excited to see us and right away she brings him outside to pee because she knows what's about to happen.

 

My old dog used to do that and we'd give her medication for it, I'm not sure what it was though.

EDIT: She wasn't old, she did it from when she was a puppy until we started giving her medication for it when she was about 2 1/2. We never had a problem with it after that.

 

Is he fixed?

 

almost all puppies do that, however my dog is 8 years old now, and when he gets realllly realllly excited he still pees all over the place. most doggies grow out of it though, so i dont think you have to worry

 

hell man my one dog has never done it but we got 2 jack russells and damn when i come home from driving and walk in the door, squirt, I call thier name squirt, and the one after they calm down is fine but the other , no matter what, pet her, piss, talk to her, piss, look at her and smile, piss.

I've never had a dog do that. I've never seen a dog do that unless it wasn't fixed.
