The last thread got polluted with pictures of other (another) strains. Please let's try to keep this one focused to help end the confusion. The last thread confused me- and i started it. This thread is about NL5xkush. The third generation, I can only hope meets out expectations. If not my ass is on the line here. This is the test, and I screwed mine up a bit. I recently moved, a hell move. The only thing that was easy was moving the grow. But Powdery mildew and lack of time spent on the grow caused them to suffer. Everthing I have going BTW-not just the nlxk. I mixed up a "solution" of baking soda and water. Of course it's my first experience with PM and BK soda. It was mixed way too strong- Ph fried my plants (baking soda combats PM by changing the PH of foilage and killing the PM) So they got badly damaged. And they got left that way for a week or so. I was busy fixing up our new house, getting the central heat on and such. last week or so I finally got around to the grow. Sprayed off the baking Soda with well water. Left them outside in the rain a few days, then the sun came out. They basically got sexed by moving them outdoors. My budroom has been minamalized as far as lighting. One drop down bare 1000 watt osram halide bulb. Covers the seedlings and moms fine. 6x7.5 room for veg now. My whole 28 foot trailer is undergoing demo/remodeling. But the vegroom is closed off in the back, and has a pocket door to it. I will be able to install a time mist dispenser with pyrethrians to combat mites now. I'll be able to do a lot of things I couldnt when I "lived in the grow" For two years I have constantly heard fans going- nice to get away finally. And give my girls room to grow now. For soil im running "kellogg's patio plus" and I love it. $5.99 at orchard supply hardware for a 1 1/2 cubic foot bag. It has a base of forest compost primary, peat secondary- which has been found to work best for cannabis by many experts. It also has horticultural sand and perlite- but I find a little castings and more perlite fares well with this soil mix. The bags can be clumpy- and need to be re-mixed a little for hotspots anyways. But I have found patio plus to be a wonderful soil mix. It has chicken manure and all kinda organic goodies, creating a soil life of around four months. It can burn seedlings a bit because of this- better to use "used" soil for this.. Or another mix. Im running two tower occilating fans , 300 cfm intake, and 308 cfm outtake. Still running my greenair day/night controller. & still running my greenair light timer. batguanos, earthworm castings, fish emulsion -for veg And budswell, pureblend pro bloom for budding, are my normal ferts now. may add foxfarm ferts to this also.I like to switch around organics. Im using a lot of soil ammendment type ferts also- usually a balanced blend of goodies.these get added once a month usually. enough of the setup and game plan. Im doing rips with my coffee so im outta here. tiedye
Good luck with your new grow. When you was living with your last grow were you in a separate room or did you have to sleep with the lights? Is this cross of your own making. Sounds a nice combination.
No the plants had thier own room before. Now they have thier own trailer ..... This is a strain that originated here on hipforums. But it's not one of mine....I wish i did work this nice!L.O.L. She really has a lot of vigor and strong root systems.... A very pleasant smoke, can be light or heavy depending on harvest times. Im looking forward to this cycle bigtime...I'll get some pics as soon as "the recovery" is further esablished...........
