customized sets of govt accepted money..... with the theory that it would fund part or all of country wide (usa) healthcare,,,, like they do with lottery....I think it would be a kick ass concept to be able to have sets ($1, $5, $10, $20,$50, and $100 denominations) of money customized to your liking,,,, (tractor for example or breeds of cows, or types of harley's etc etc) and basically do away slowly with all other govt currency except possibly dimes n quarters,,,, pennies suck n nickels are just too big for what they are worth and say for every thousand dollars you have printed you pay a 5% tax that would fund healthcare for all in this country atleast in part....
so pretty much your saying go back to the time of trading pelts and seeds for goods? i dunno about u, but that whole theory makes no sense, Money isnt just a peice of paper, it has value throughout the WORLD, and it effects the global economy, u cant just change things up
^^^ that's his point tho, an individual would relieve himself of their current currency and instead have the other items that represent his wealth. for a while there would have to be a dual system, or perhaps it could remain a dual system indefinitely: government regulated papers and government approved physical possessions both representing wealth.
do u actually think that has the SLIGHTEST chance of working? even on some fuckin hippy compound where everything was grown naturally and everyone brought everything they own to trade, u would eventually need ACTUALL currency
I think she just means money that is printed how you want Like, have you ever seen those Santa Dollars that come around at Christmas time? With Santa instead of a president...but they're real cash...you can use them. Well, I think she's just saying you could pay like a 5% tax just to get money with a govt. approved icon of your liking (like she said, Harley, Santa, Banana, whatever) and the tax would go to health care...like novelty money? I think that's what she's saying...I dunno...hard to follow haha
umm i would be willing to just pay a tax so everyone could have free health care, i guess the money idea is cool...
