it sure is an unique way to look at drug control, to eliminate the consumers that would plague the judical system with small cases. i think it would be a good idea since they would be targeting dealers with stiffer penalties, but that also means that it would be a lot harder to get. i think it definately a good idea, but it only benefits the users that have the drugs already in small amounts.

no, i do not believe that is what they are trying to do, in the netherlands, they have a special law that allows the sale of mary jane in certain coffee shops and such. decriminalizing just means its legal to carry a certain amount, and in this case, < 5 grams.

Yea its def. still illegal to sell their, you cant have more than 5 grams and if you get caught selling now you automatically get jail time.

I like what the do in the Netherlands better. Mexico is legalizing possesion of small amounts of all drugs and the Netherlands have a zero tolerance policy on the coke and heroin. It seems alot smarter to legalize possesion of small amounts of pot and to bust the cokeheads and junkies.

 

Oh yeah, you can also possess up to 2.2 pounds of peyote buttons in Mexico now!

Chillout man, have you ever even been to Mexico? beaches prob don't count, they are too touristy, Mexico city is too big and is dangerous, being the largest city on the planet. Small poor towns? well, they are small and poor.

You can't get the whole picture of what a country is out of just visiting these places, there is so much more to it than that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Mexico is the shit, it does have beautiful places to visit, natural and manmade (aztecs and mayan), colonial cities, rich culture and traditions, but there are a lot of things I don't like. I've only lived here about 6 years, but I do plan on leaving as soon as I can, back to the US or to Canada maybe Australia (cuz there's things I don't like about the US either)

Personally I have not yet heard anything about these laws, but presidential elections are this year, so we'll see how shit goes on that.

Shrooms are cool with me, but not coke or meth...especially meth. Cocaine can be fine in the hands of a responsible user, but it can be really dangerous, as well as meth. Pot and shrooms, to me, are a hell of alot more worthy of being legalized.

fuck yeah man, that mexi-shwag aint bad for the 125 a qp i was payin in texas. killer on the longs though, cuz we were smoking like 15 blunts a day last summer. now that im back east...i havent seen any shwag at all. its funny though, texas was shwag- 125$ a qp, no mids and 400$ an ounce for dank and now where i live its no shwag, 120$ an ounce mids and 225$ and ounce for dank.
