pregnant...but still have yer PERIOD?!!!!!!!!!

i think my friend told me one of her friends was pregnant but didnt even know because she still got her period. scary! is that really true? is it rare?? i get my period but sometimes i think i look fat or something and i worry im pregnant but dont even know.

anyone noe anythimng about this? thanks~!

Look, my ex-wife went through the same thing, and it's not a period. Any bleeding during pregnancy is abnormal, especially if it's constant, and is a sign that a miscarriage can occurr. The doctors told my wife that she had to stay in bed and not have sex indefinitely, until the bleeding stopped. As long as the bleeding was occurring, it meant that she was on the verge of having a miscarriage-the doctors said there was nothing they could do but order bed rest. I found in an old medical book that natural Vitamin E (has to be the natural form) and Vitamin K were very effective in preventing miscarriages (the doctors said they no longer believed in this). I got it at the health food store and two hours after the first dose her bleeding completely stopped and never came back and she had a perfectly healthy baby (she did take the vitamins for a few weeks after that also). If she's bleeding while she's pergnant, it's not a period and it's not normal.

 

if you're genuinely worried, take a pregnancy test, they're a whole $10 from most places around here, it's not as though it's a huge cost

 

My aunty was pregnant and didnt even realise she was pregnant till she was about 5 months, my cousin was the same, and their kids are perfectly healthy,
theres the kind of bleeding that you should worry about and then theres the kind of bleeding that maybe is just suppose to happen.
But yer it is normal 2 still get your period and be pregnant. Now a miscarrige on the other hand looks like a big blood clot/clump depending on how far in your pregnancy u are and im pretty sure it would hurt while it was happening aswell
