okk so this is my second lip piercing.. and I have had this one for almost a month now.. and on the inside its really painful.. sharp stinging pains and it feels like a raised bump that is decoloured.. sort of darkish red and there is a bit of white around the jewellery part.. my piercer wasnt of any help.. and I know not to go back to him. Anyone know what this could be..? thanks

hey i had mine done the first month it all hurt and crusty stuff was on the ring but i ignored it and it became all better, i think its your lip is trying to heal around the ring so like move it around you know...

When I first got mine pierced, there was like a white line behind the hole on the inside of my lip and it would sting sometimes like that. I'm sure your lip is just trying to heal, just keep cleaning it and taking care of it and see what happens.

Gargle some warm salt water. It might be an infection trying to form where your open wound is surrounded with bateria from your mouth. Do that 3 times a day and it should start to feel better in a day or two.

yeah mine had the white stuff at the begining, ive only had mine for like three weeks, and its all gone, and the crusty stuff is almost non-existant, just give it time, maybe your skin is just more sensative
