Has everybody heard about the Running of the Nudes!!! www.runningofthenudes.co.uk
A cruelty free event where 100s of compassionate, fun loving people from all around the world run, dance and sing naked along the streets of Pamplona to show the people of Pamplona that they don’t need to torture animals for tourism. We are also showing the tourists who plan to attend the Running of the Bulls that torturing animals for entertainment is wrong and that they can have more fun by joining us in the Running of the Nudes. I know tourists flocking to Pamplona are looking for a thrill, and the Running of the Nudes will give them just that – without killing innocent animals.

The fun, festive, NAKED “Running of the Nudes” is by far the sexiest party in Pamplona! Join me in Pamplona on the 5th of July!!! There are coaches travelling to Pamplona from destinations all through Europe including France, Germany, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, the UK, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Romania and Spain!

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) started the Running of the Nudes to draw attention to the cruelty inflicted on the bulls during San Fermin for the sake of entertainment and tradition. It is tourists who sustain this cruelty but most don't realise the extent of the cruelty and I'm sure if they did they would not go! The bulls are fed laxatives for days before the race to weaken them, they are beaten, their horns are shaved and they are kept in tiny underground cages before the race so when they get up into the streets of Pamplona they are momentarily blinded by the sunlight - they also have Vaseline rubbed into their eyes so they can not see and crash into walls causing broken bones. The magnificent animals that slip and slide on the streets of Pamplona during the Running of the Bulls will be barbarically killed each night all in the name of tradition.

If I had the money to fly there, I would definitely go. Buck naked, too. Note to people interested- you do NOT have to be naked to be in the run. And it's more like a walk. I would encourage anyone there do it!

Yes, Spain is still a country with many barbaric traditions.

Hemingway is too a lot to blame by the popularity of the Running of the bulls in Pamplona. There's been many deads in the course of the years, many of then unwaries youngs foreigners.
