These pendants were handcut by me using all non-electric hand tools. They were cut from real US quarters. I'm not going to say that it's a perfectly legal proccess, but if it's not, I found one hell of a loophole! I also make the same pendant but with George smoking a doobie. This is a rather rare item as coin cutting is a grueling and rare art form. These are not easy to find. I have these on ebay often times for around twelve bucks. That's about 1/32 of a bag of the sticky green. Lowest price around. Not to mention quite a political and socialogical statement. Another thing I've done is sold these at hempfests, barter fairs, rainbow gatherings, dead shows, string cheese shows, etc... for $15 a pop all day long. If someone were interested in a wholesale purchase of these, I'd go as low as $6 if the purchase was for at least ten or more. Anyay, I sell under the user name 'Petsalad' on ebay if someone wanted one right now. Also I have more photos of my coin work at www.myspace.com/coincutter if interested. And inquire here if inerested in a wholesale order. I can put the order up on ebay if it would make the buyer more comfortable. Thanks for lookin' -Rob
Wow! I haven't seen these for years! I known a few coin cutters over the years, but forgot all about the art. Have you heard of a Roger Wheeler? Anyway, these are great! Keep up the good work and I'll check ebay for your stuff.... Peace, John
Dude, that's pretty fuckin' cool. Yeah, it's a federal offense to mess with currency.. but nice work nonetheless. I'd buy one if I had my own account. heheh. So cool. Thanks for sharing. *Hope you stick around the forum.
I don't know Roger personally but I certainly know of him. I've met a few people that studied under him in the 70s. Send him my regards. And thanks for the praise!
