so i was riding down the road today, on the way home from work, and i thought to myself: "how do those indian women get there forheads peirced?" so how do they do it? is it like one of those peircings that are like screwed in or something? cause my cousin has like six of those on his side, and i thought that maybe that was how they did it, but its almost all bone there no fat at all, and barely any skin. so im confused..
i heard once... but im not sure... that they dig untill theres a lil hole and they place the gem in and let the skin heal around it... but im not postive...
yeah, it's just glued/stickied on, it's not a true piercing now, some people do get piercings in their skin, in that area or similar to that... from what I've heard, most are an implant to which balls are screwed in (ie the tiger man guy who has whiskers he can put into some implant thingers) but they're painful to get done and are pretty much like a surgery
some are permanent tattoos, which is a symbol of their position in the caste system, like a tattoo can never be removed they can never jump as caste. they also do glue or stick on or color on depending on what caste they are in higher the cast more likely to glue on a jewel some are just draw ons also. ah, writing reports for school gives us game show knowledge.
yeah i thought that maybe it was a tattoo as well. but i think that back in like ancient india the wouldnt do the whole glue thingy, it was prolly a tattoo. ok thanks guys, i think i can sleep better now!
hehe this made me smile. It is called a bindi. Traditionally they are painted buti have seen those sticky things in the mall.
