any of you read it? It has like four big books in the series, and they're pretty good. Ther're in the stone age and it follows the lives of a mysterious woman-Ayla- and a big man-Jondalar-. Some of you should check it out.

    Peace.

    Hello hatehater,

    I read "Earths Children" series...
They are beautiful books that give us an insight into Earths Oldest Child,
"Neanderthal Man", and "Cro-Magnon Man", the newest child of Mother Earth.

Ayla, a beautiful woman begins this adventure as an orphaned child in the first series and her life with "Neanderthal Man" gives us an insight into the life of our first ancestors..."Clan Of The Cave Bear".

"Valley Of Horses" continues her journey and this is where we meet Jondalar 6ft 6inches tall and gorgeous. We meet and continue their journey with Cro-Magnon Man...

    A Definate...Must Read...

I was hooked from the first page...

    Clan Of The Cave Bear
    Valley Of Horses
    Mammoth Hunters
    Plains Of Passage
    Shelter Of Stone...

I think there is one more book yet to be written, if the Author "Jean Auel" is able...

    Tapolla...

I read the first 2. I think they're pretty good, and the information is well researched.
Even better they have all of them at the library :D
