German Muslim students suspended for wearing Hijab​

A secondary school in the West German city of Bonn suspended two 18-year-old Muslim girls for wearing Hijab, the Islamic headscarf, an education official said on Friday.
The students, both immigrants of Turkish origin, were stopped from attending classes for the next two weeks after an order by principal, Ulrich Stahnke who acted in coordination with the Cologne-based district government. An unnamed spokesman for the city of Bonn said that the school considered the two girls, who were handed initial suspensions of two weeks, to have disturbed the peaceful running of the school (*Steven: Hi stupid), arguing that the two students' choice of clothing had spurred disruptive debate in the school. The official added that the two girls would be allowed to return to school if they took off their Hijab, Reuters reported.

Well,

If it's school policy that you are not allowed to wear anything on your head, such as a cap or something, then I feel that muslim girls should be allowed to wear things around their head aswell, because that would be discrimination towards the students that want something else.
Sure it's part of their religion, but other religions may not be expressed on our school with something else either, so I think it's very wrong that muslim girls are allowed to wear things on their heads anyway...

Suspending them for 2 weeks however is quite overrated,
I mean if they didnt comply to take it off or something, send them home for the rest of the day or something, but 2 weeks...
Not that they should be complaining, 2 weeks extra holiday =)

I agree with the school on this one,
policy is policy, religion or not.

not to worry about 2 weeks extra holiday, stay positive!

Age has nothing to do with this,
I think you were just asking my age because you were out of arguments and cant proove anything.

If you think that you can judge me by age and that you can give arguments because of my age, then I sincerely hope that you will burn in hell if it exists.

Actually I believe you are not allowed to judge people on your own according to your religion.

I thought you was someone with a good point, that you could talk with,
