in between the boobies percing

i was talking to my sister about how this one is done, and she was saying how it's just stuck right through the skin without a clamp or nothin.....sounds a little painful. I've been hankerin to get something done....and I thought about this.....
anyone know anything about it?

its called a cleavage surface piercing. some artists will use forceps, some will not. its personal preference. theyre very difficult to heal.

Yea, surface piercings are bitches to heal. I had one on my forearm once....my piercer didn't use forceps or anything. It didn't hurt THAT bad....people just really exaggerate the pain.

 

I thought it was called a sternum piercing.. But hey ho...

If she doesn't contribute a comment about her experiences with her peircing soon, I shall take it upon myself to try and speak on her behalf.. Only becuase she has such important things to add to this thread!

 

Surface piercings are notoroiously hard to heal, but an experiencd piercer using the proper jewelery can greatly improve your chances. Make sure the piercer uses a surface bar; they look kinda like a staple. Let me try to draw one i___i. Haha, hows that. the dots on the "i" would be the balls that come out of the skin.

Don't let a piercer tell you another type of jewelery will work and ask to see HEALED pictures of surface work he has done.

my friend had hers done twice but it never really healed right. Now she has an ugly scar between her boobs. Here is a picture while it was still in. It really was nice looking.

hers doesn't seem all that centered.....i don't know.....from the pic, i don't really like hers. There's a girl at my husband's college who has one done, and I'm pretty sure it's like a regular post......kinda like a tounge ring......i dunno....

 

yeah it is just a weird angle but it was the only one on her myspace where you could see it.

 

Most of the sternum piercing will be a tiny bit off center because theirs not enough skin in the exact middle to anchor the piercing,,, that doesnt mean that it won't look nice,,, You have to make sure not to pull the skin while its healing or it will migrate out

Sorry, I just don't see the point of getting the skin inbetween your tits pierced...and i like piercings.

 

when you run out of places to pierce because they become so mainstream, you have to start thinking of new things to do.
