    Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
i went to my first cocktail party last thursday and all my life i had never had more than a sip of alcohol, i had had my last sip about 6 years ago.
i took a plunge into the unknown anticipating the blithe resolve to lose myself in the moment.

There i was away from the company of friends asking for a glass of red wine, which was chilled and full bodied. the whiff of grapes, wood and darkness of wine casks filled my mind with romantic musings that left my enzymes hungry for a taste, sip .....gulp.
    the warm feeling
    that snaked down my throat,
    through my arms
    down into my belly

    and up my head.

    sip

    sip

    sip.

Air, lightness, feet floating on clouds and my heart so light i thought i might lie down and see the sun shining from between my feet.

    What a stillness
a beauty so inherently fulfilling, if i misused it i'd be guilty of losing my innocence.

    my first glass

there it lay on a table
    majestically alone
set aside by the glamour of its redness.

    beauty lives in a bottle...sometimes
and what a feeling to taste it and immerse my being into it.

    Hmmmmmm

then why do you keep buying it?

GOOD wine shouldnt make you sick if you know your limits....

on the other hand, drinking a box of cheap merlot isn't going to be too great....

but if red wine in general, or the wine you buy, makes you sick, why would you keep buying it?

maybe for you, for me beer is much more palatable and its MUCH easier to put it away until i'm really truly drunk.....

    same with rum...

but not cheap wine. perhaps good wine, but i dont know what's good, really, so i can't claim that goes down too very well except in moderation....

The booze wars Beer v. Red wine.
Grain versus grape. cheap grape is lots of waste but a glass of classy red will leave anyone in a heaven or two.
lets see beer is more nutritious , red wine is most healthful. take a pick.
cant make up my mind coz i havent gotten been stoned on beer.

    peace and love
