a good night tonight

do i didn't get home from work untill 11pm tonight. plumbing nightmare at a clients house. when i got home, the house was completley clean...kitchen, stove, rugs vacumed, dishes. on the table was a plate of food and juice waiting for me...and a note asking me to come upstairs when i was done eating to play a game or read a book, signed by both amanda and zack. (they are 14 and 11)
when i got up stairs they had folded down the futon and both fell asleep waiting for me.
i don't work late very often but when i do it usually means i come home to chaos. this is such a good feeling i just had to share

My (future) step daughter just turned 3.....she's a very good kid...but her mom.....ooooh myyyy goooosh.....i can't explain her in a way that would make complete sense.. lemme just say this...she's a lunatic, she doesnt care about the child, she changes/feeds her when she feels like it...and yeah...but the little girl is soo soo soooo good.

Now, other way around... good parent=good kids...that's another understatement..lol i could use my brother as an example.

Nooo i am NOT meaning to start an argument i just thought i'd share that that is not always the case Ciao, friend!

For those that don't know, they are my niece and nephew I've been raising for the last four years, so I guess I am both the mother and father now but only for the last four years, before that they were in some serious dysfunction.
They are not always this good, so this was a particularly good night, but yeah, they are good kids
We all came a long way. i'm proud of them
