I thought I'd start this thread as a tribute to all of the musicians loved here at Hip Forums who have died. If one of your favorite musicians is dead, feel free to make a tribute to him/her. Here are my tributes: Jim Morrison (1943-1971) Keith Moon (1946-1978) John Entwistle (1944-2002) John Lennon (1940-1980) George Harrison (1943-2001) Janis Joplin (1943-1970) Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) Keith Relf (1943-1976) Rest in peace...
Hmm, alright... adding on to the list... Frank Zappa (1940-1993) Krista "Nico" Paeffgen (1938-1988) John Bonham (1948-1980)
Doh! I always forget Nico! And she's in my bloody sig! *sigh* And I should have included John as well... damn, I knew I forgot some people!
Jeff Buckley (1966-1997) Shannon Hoon (1967 -1995) Gram Parsons (1946-1973) I would also like to post a tribute for the nine people that died during the Pearl Jam set at the Roskilde festival on 6-30-2000 Rest In Peace...
Michael Karoli (guitarrist from CAN) 1950-2001 Rest in Peace. Your unearthly guitar wail will be sorely missed.

Hey I like your siggy, man. Late last year I saw Ravi Shankar in concert (I think it might have been his final tour), and it was utterly mesmerizing. It seriously was one of the best musical experiences in my life.
Oh, I have another one: Linda McCartney (1941-1998) Now before anyone says anything, I highly enjoy her on RAM with Paul McCartney. Actually, the album is credited as a "Paul & Linda McCartney" album, not just a Paul McCartney one.
