I'm not a feminist (I'm a womens rights advocate) but I went to their website and I don't know what to make of them. I have no problem being ladylike and wearing dresses, but they actually ADVOCATE women not getting an education! Are they just mislead? Stupid? Or are they being abused by their husbands and don't know it?

The Secret Power of Lesbian Style
This article is a discussion of lesbian-influenced fashion that mainstream American women and men wear. From a LAF reader: "This was an eye-opening article from the Sunday New York Times about homosexual influence on current and past fashion. I thought readers of LAF should know this information so we would not unwittingly be mannequins of lesbian dressing and/or designers. I read with particular interest the part about the now popular shag haircut's origin--I always did think that style was terribly unbecoming to ladies (and men)." [Not for young readers; and be aware that there is a Victoria's Secret ad on the same page. Also note that once the article goes into archive status on the NYT website--which is one week after publication--the NYT requires you to register in order to read the article. So sorry about that!]</B> [ Read Article (Outside Link) ]

These women who run this site are full of a crock of shit. They are blinded by their own religion and book. Totaly unaccepting of new age beliefs and how far women have come. As well as totaly unloving to say in one place that god would nto turn away teens who dress a sertain way and then in another place go on to say that they do not advocate lesbian designers etc..so fucking stupid these people are. I hate bible thumpers. I don't hate it when people love their religion but i don't like it when it discriminates on everyday people. And these people are trying to push this crap on young impressionable girls. Whatever. I flip up my miniskirt at them!

Anyone want to wear this bathingsuit?

This is the kinda of twisted bullshit that my step-father advocates.

The only thing that I can possibly remotely agree with is that children need their mothers. Everything else can kiss my ass.

Funky, this year, I've officially turned into a soccer mom. My little girl is playing soccer this fall. And somehow, I got roped into being a coach!! I actually call myself the "anti-soccer mom". I'm only a mother of a soccer player.

i think ladies against feminism is a wonderful idea. theres alot of problems that arise when you link yourself with a group and are expected or encouraged to accept all of thier positions and beliefs. i think that free-thinking and individuality are the most important things to being a healthy person.

the problems that come up with being associated with a group happen everywhere, in religion, in politics, in learning, and in being a social person. but they seem to arise more so in the feminism arena.

i suppose this is a bit off the topic, but has anyone noticed how so many women prefer not to associate themselves with the term feminism? the movement has been taken over by this image of women in flannel hating men and trying to knock them off the mortal coil. i say that any person who is concerned about and advocates women's rights is a feminist. i don't want to put anyone of the defensive or anything, i just want to put a positive spin back on feminism.

    please quote this

"I haven't gotten my period in a long time, I lost count how many months now... probably at least six... maybe more... I'm not sexually active or anything so I know it's not that, but should I be worried about something else?"
edward g put this shit before
