I have when they put sauce on cheese steaks.... i ordered one last night and told them "no sauce" (a chicken cheese steak it was) and what did it have on it? sauce. bah. do you like sauce on cheese steaks?
well im not sure where youre from so that could be why too. im not too far from philly and there are cheese steaks everywhere here so i guess if someone from around here never had one id be shocked.
I'm from Ohio... So I take it these cheese steaks are good? What do they have on them? Just cheese, or do they have veggies on them too?
you can get a lot of different kinds of cheese steaks... typically its chopped steak with fried onions and melted cheese on a crusty hoggie roll (long kind of course)- sometimes they add sauce (blah!)--- you can also get them made with chicken instead... and sometimes they have veggies- peppers, mushrooms.... and really the list is end less in the way you/they can make them.
Oh! Maybe I have had one of those after all! I was picturing a steak all smoothered in a cheese sauce. But I had a grilled, diced up chicken sub before, it was on toasted bread, with green bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and melted provolone cheese. It was delicious!
See, I learned something new. I just figured it was a sub, didn't know it was actually a cheese steak!
