Me and this dock worker at the PA Liquor Control Board were chatting while I was getting unloaded and we both came to the conclusion the the true racism in this world is not based on color but rather economics. By this I mean color has no viable value to a persons life but you see there are quoted to be 3 levels of people the rich, the middle class and the poor. The rich control these levels. They can change the economy so when the middle class begins to slide away from the poor and close in on the rich they set forth costs to retard the middle class back toward the poor. The poor most of whom are already totally devistated seem to be less hurt since they already had nothing so they cant loose anymore. I guess instead of people fighting over color issues maybe they need to work together to fight for economic issues. Likely it is the rich to the ejoy keeping the racial gap strong too, no unity means more power for them.

Forget it. You'll never get honest answers in here lol. I've written on this subject and everyone hedges like if they said what they really felt then someone would come through the computer lol.

I will, however; stick my neck out because no one can come and kick my butt and even if they could so what. I agree with you up to a point. The part where we differ is on how the wealth is achieved and how easy it was for some to get it and some not to get it. I agree if the wealth was obtained in an honest fashion with no one getting hurt or cheated then all nationalities would be equal. I disagree, however if you were to say the same is possible illegally. Why you ask? Whites historically have had more success illegally obtaining wealth and turning it into a positive Acquisition. I'll use the Kennedy's for example. When they first made their fortunes they did it by selling bootleg alcohol. They even had mob backing to keep them from running into problems with competitors. I'm not saying that all Rich Whites got that way by doing illegal activity but if you look at the Super Rich ones then you'll see what I mean. (I watch a lot of the Biography channel lol.) Now you have Minorities that also cheat and rise to the top as well as those that don't cheat and rise but not on the same level. Honestly, in defense of the rich Whites of a forgone era, they knew how to turn a negative into a positive. Company towns, sweat shops, slave labor and dirty underhanded deals helped make alot of people able to bask in the prosperity pool.

What the hecks are the pics supposed to assist with? And your correct on some but still seems that thier wealth was built on the losses of others and that they were very focal about the location of how thier money was pooled out.

CRAWFORD, Texas (Reuters) - President Bush welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin to his Texas ranch on Wednesday, hoping some down-home hospitality would soften Putin's skepticism over U.S. missile defense plans.

With a light rain falling, Bush drove the Russian leader to his ranch house in a white pickup truck as their summit moved to the wide open spaces of Texas.

v ``The president brought rain for which we are always grateful in the state of Texas,'' Bush shouted to reporters from behind the wheel of the Ford truck with Putin at his side. In seats behind them were wives, Laura Bush and Lyudmila Putin.

Wearing black slacks and a black shirt, the Russian leader became the first foreign leader to visit Bush's Prairie Chapel ranch.

A Marine One helicopter brought Putin and his wife to a helipad located on the ranch. Stepping off the chopper, Mrs. Putin offered a yellow rose to Mrs. Bush.

Then they all climbed into the truck for the short drive to the main house and nearby guest house where the Putins were staying overnight on the 1,600-acre ranch.

``I still know how to drive,'' said Bush, who is more accustomed to being driven around in a limousine.

He said he wanted to show Putin some sights on his ranch.

``We're going to take a tour. I want to show him some of my favorite spots on the ranch,'' Bush said, who had shed his dark Washington suits for faded blue jeans, cowboy boots and a rugged gray jacket.

A big party for 28 people was in the planning for the evening. The dinner menu included such Texas favorites as Mesquite-smoked peppered beef tenderloin, southern fried catfish, fire-roasted potatoes with poblano peppers, old-fashioned green beans, and pecan pie.

The guest list included famed pianist Van Cliburn, who once won a piano competition in Moscow and lives in Fort Worth. Golfer Ben Crenshaw was also attending.

The Ranch Hands Band, a Texas swing band, would also provide some of the entertainment.

Crawford, a tiny town outside Waco in central Texas, rolled out a homey welcome for the two leaders on Wednesday, with signs made by local school children decorating fence lines along the road into town.

``Texas says 'howdy' Russian Pres. Putin,'' said one banner. Bush hoped the Texas stop would give Putin a glimpse of rural America and solidify their already warm personal relationship.
