That's right. I am deathly afraid of the little buggers. And apparently they have made nest in my bedroom because one popped out at me earlier and scared me half to death. I jumped up, knocking my chair over, and landing across the room (me, not the chair). Good lord. I dunno what it is about them...I just don't want one to touch me. I think my foot will fall off if it does. Currently I have my cat on watch. What a good guardcat I have.
yeah cats are good for that.... but if it was just one little mouse id honestly try to humanly trap it and set it free outside... i think mice are quite cute... that said, i wouldnt want a ton of them running around my house.... now if there was a rat in my house, that would be a different story. they scare me.
Well, Socks didn't catch him, so the mouse got away. My main purpose was to scare the mouse into hiding so he won't run over my foot. I don't care about them if I can't see them. Weird...
im like that with the centipedes or millipedes or what those many legged, fast running scary bugs are here
its okay if they are in cages... i think rats can be cute but i dont trust random rats that arent pets
A friend of mine has pet rats. My husband thinks it's disgusting, but man, are those things ever cute, and so loveable! But if I saw a wild rat running through my house though, I think I'd get a little freaked.
I wouldn't set it free, though i guess it hardly makes a difference, given that there's probably already tons out there anyways. still, no sense adding to the population. Especially one who knows how good the living is inside, one who knows how to GET inside. Just set some traps or maybe your cat will get him. They're cute, but you can't let them have the run of the place. And rats, well shit, kill those buggers. Aside from pet rats, they are seriously unwanted.
Mice are cute...but not the wild ones. Way too many people have gotten really sick and died because they got that disease from breathing around the mice's chosen "bathrooms." We had a whole crew of them living in our kitchen cabinet with the pots and pans. Talk about gross. But it did get me in the habit of cleaning pans before and after I cook. Probably a good habit. Anyway, there is a bird sanctuary in a park in one of the towns a few miles from here and at night, a huge infestation of mice come out and eat all the birds' food. It makes me sad. I wish they'd let the birds go, too. They don't treat them right and if the guy who started the sanctuary in the first place knew how bad they were being treated, he'd be turning in his grave. He was my old next door neighbor when we lived there and it makes me mad that they don't take more precautions to keep the birds fed and happy. Argh.
eh, mice are ok. Except for when they're dead, then they're gross to touch. icky. Rats are nasty nasty nasty though, they gross me out
What about MIckey Mouse? He's not scary, and except for that time on the teacups when I was 7, he never made me sick.
I've had this theory that Mickey Mouse is the grim reaper for awhile now. Or at least associated with him. Think about it, in nearly every single Disney movie, someone dies. And someone dies at Disneyworld almost yearly, it seems. So either that giant mouse has a really morbid sense of humor or...he's sacrificing innocent cartoons and people to the devil. Yes. I will make millions with my theory.
