Wow wyldwind do you mind if I put that bubble blowing movinggif on the same page as my Morning Dews painting at http://www.honorseed.com/pages/17/index.htm with full credit of course.? Okay zpiper, here is how I do these. First I use a fine point pen, the tube kind to spot the dots for shading and outline. Then I have a magnesium printing plate made from the drawing which is bigger than the picture shows. After I get the plate, I ink it up with a brayer(roller) and press a sheet of heavy watercolor paper onto it to get just the dots and lines. Then I color it in with watercolors. That's how I can offer them so cheap at 27 bucks on my website. I'm also looking for other peoples suitable art to sell there or maybe trade for done the line. Sculpture, or paintings. The thing I'm mildly concerned about is that it is delivered after someone pays for it. I don't really know how to get around that with full confidence after someone pays me using a paypal account for instance. The site is a long way off from being finished. Here is another partial view of a acrylic/oil on canvas I did.
oh forgot to add, since I am a potter, I can press clay onto the printing plate and pull of what looks like an etched tile. I tryed it with aluminum foil and the raised part of the plate imprints onto foil also. Thanks for the compliments guys, it is one of the main reasons I do art.
Actually I designed a couple of amusement parks and thought about building one of these shrooms on my property. If I ever do the top part is going to have to be fiberglass and hopefully it will light up at night. I built a replica of Gepettos workshop from Disneys Pinnochio already, it sits on the front of my property as a storage shed. Maybe this place will turn into a little private funzone, I dunno. Here is a sculpture pic of a tree stump cottage I plan on building someday too. The beehive roller coaster ride with interior hexagonal colored light flashing panels and people riding little buzzy bees with springy antenna will have to wait thoThe teapot train and teapot train cars too.
I have written part of a book called the Seed Hollow Chronicles, the Morning Dews House is one of the illustrations. I have another done. It is a pair of people in a boat shaped like a banana. The guy has horns. The third drawing is a couple of bumpkins walkin to a pumpkin shaped house on a cobblestone street. I want to have at least 12 illustrations before I publish, and thanks magical and millow for the push. Gets me fired up to get drawing again. Love that black angel heart and the rings in your pic magical firelady. Honor Seed
That's a groovy little drawing. If I saw that in a book, i'd just shrug and say, yeah of course it's good, it's in a book after all! But if it's not yet, it deserves to be!
thanks sundew and dancing........here is a pottery sculpture I did that has flicker bulbs inside to make it look like little fairies are sitting by the fire......it is one of many models I did for the amusement park I designed. The others were Turtle Tea Tower, Dream Dome, Star Elves Estate, Penguin Palace, Keeper of the Ponds that has molten glass as water in the ponds and melted into a waterfall too, Mushroom Manor that had a big resin dome with stars on it, a lamp.........ahhhhhh it had four leaf clover windows. Heart House with lights inside and resin cast windows and ponds out front, peace, honor
Looked at your gallery pics lovelightlisa and BEATificdeadBEAT .........both of you have talent drawing. So the compliments mean a lot to me. Why don't you try 3-d art and do some sculpting, go down to a local pottery studio get some caly and have whoever fire it when you are done? #-d brings on a different kind of happy feeling...and different too if you do it by candlelight. Who are those people in your gypsy wagon pic lovelightlisa? The red cloud stonehenge pic is as cool as it gets. Both of you thanks again!!!! peace Honor Seed ' gonna see my smilin face on the cover of the rolling stone ' my place on thanksgiving morn, 2005
