Parents That know..Good or Bad

Hey everyone, I just would like to know what you guys feel about parents who let you blaze up. If your one of those 15-18 year olds who need the visine and need the stash boxes so your folks dont find out you might time to time, think to yourslf "wtf i just wish my parents would be cool with it". Anyways my parents indeed do let me smoke because they dont think its harmful, although theyd kill me if they found out i drank alcohol. But most of the times now i can say i wish my parents NEVER knew anything. They always expect im smoking, talk about it occasionally(which is fuckin akward) ask if im stoned time to time and just really annoy me. Please somebody tell me if im being a stubborn little bitch or if im 1 of the few lucky kids who are allowed to smoke.

Anyways to some this up, i want to ask if you guys would like your parents knowing or not. Another thing is, reguarding my age, do you think i have bad parents for letting me smoke? I also should say they dont by no means encourage me smoking, they know the truthful harmful effects and everything and would like me to stop, but they understand its my decisions and if they dont see me respecting the herb and using moderation then they will take my privilage(sp) away. Input?

with my parents it was a dont ask dont tell policy...also they didnt want me skippin school or getting arrested...thats when the ball dropped and they got super pissed. they would occasionally find my pieces when i would leave them out on accident...but they would just tell me to do better with hiding/remembering to pick them up when im done.

 

I just smoked with my mom and her boyfriend the other night.
It's not that big of a deal.

 

my mom found out, and after a few discussions, and over time she doesn't care at all. as long as i don't have paraphernalia or weed on her property.

 

My Mom & stepdad have no problem. They even lend me the money to get some if I don't have no money.... as long as I pay it back, which of course I do. My Dad does not know though. I'd like him to, but sorta wouldn't as well....

 

At your age, i think it has to be taken as a responsibility thing, if your grades start slippin or you start gettin into trouble with the cops than they should not allow you to smoke anymore, but if you do it responsibly and keep your grades up then i see no problem with letting you do it. my parents had the dont ask dont tell policy, they found my pipe when i was about 16 and had a talk with me about it and made me throw out my pipe but they didnt punish me or anything.

 

my parents know...theyve found my stuff like 9 or 10 times now..taken 3 bowls from me and about a half ounce of weed so far...well they OBVIOUSLY know..and the DONT like it..my dad is sort of a hypocrite though..he smokes and even smoked my buds..but then gets pissed when he finds out that i do it..every time i get caught by my mom or w/e..he gets pissed ..but my mom says shes mostly pissed because i brought it in her house (as willy said)..and she dont respect it..but just the fact that i brought illegal substances into her house..that makes her mad..but oh well i guess..i love the hell out of my parents..but i just wish they were a little more leanient on it..cuz im cautious when it comes to smoking..

yeah my mom knows she prefer i didnt but she asks the usual "are you smoking pot in your room" "are you keeping your grades up because i know your smoking pot" where as my dad will be like "so are you geting high today" "are you stoned?"

 

Well, at this point, we know but he doesn't know we know.

And no, I will not be smoking him up until he is 18 or over AND out on his own.

 

My dad knows, he's been cool about it the whole time, except at first he was just gave me ahuge lecture about how it would be very very bad if I got caught and I shouldn't drive while high, and stuff liek that, and keep the grades up and everything. Then he didn't ask me about it for awhile. Although lately he has been asking me all the time if I've been getting stoned alot, it's just kind of annoying. But, I'm grateful he generally accepts it.
