Where did you sit most often?

For me, in high school, I'd typically sit right in the front. I was an all A student and loved school.

In college, I typically sit in the back because I don't like to be noticed...it's easier if the teacher doesn't really know who you are.

But since I've had dreads, it doesn't work as well anymore...it blew up in my face this semester...somehow one of my profs figured out my name. Not sure how that happened because I never came to class : -/

In the front more often than not. I was a pretty smart kid in my younger years, in the gifted classes if you can believe that one. What the heck happened?

At my school, the profs all now have class rosters with the school ID picture of each kid. It's weird when some professor you've never talked to and has never called your name knows who you are.

Geez, that's really weird...they don't have anything like that where I go.

I think that's kind of creepy...

this year, i've been sitting near the front of the class, but usually, in the past i would sit in the middle or close to a window.

and we have a mandatory attendance policy too...

I know in high school and middle school, I used to hate that we'd have assigned seats, but now that I'm in college, I usually sit in the same seats everyday...I like consistancy and once I find a seat I feel comfy in and near people I like...I don't like to move.

My teachers always sat me up against the wall in back by myself because I was a distraction.Always finished the work first--and got bored and began to jack around.

Curious...What Would you Do if Someone Sat in Your Usualy Seat?

Do you Claim the Seats as Your Own?

I guess it's an unwritten rule to not sit in someone's seat.

But if they do, I do get a little irritated LOL

In high school...I usually sat towards the back of the class. Because I could pass notes and junk. Haha. It was rare that we had assigned seating, but even if we did, I usually ended up towards the back anyway. My senior English class second semester just had two kids, so we'd irritate the teacher by moving around constantly. We'd be all over that room by the end of one class period. But they had weird seating arrangements in most of my classes, so it was hardly ever the standard several rows of desks, they were usually set up in complicated patterns. The worst thing was when the theatre/speech teacher decided it was a good time to move the desks into groups. I was never in a good theatre class with kids who were actually into theatre.
