Since I'll be leaving to go back to America in less than 2 weeks I had it sent there, so I'll have to wait a little while before I can listen to it. I wonder, what does everyone else think of this album? And Coltrane in general? This is my second album by him, my first having been the masterpiece A Love Supreme.

Since we're on the subject of jazz, what does everyone think as well of Time Out by Dave Brubeck? I'd quite like to get this one soon.

Giant Steps i s a great album. I mean with that song it kind of popularised that sort of progression of chords moving in major thirds...

The Brubek album is great if you are into weird time signitures. Of course everyone already knows the song take 5.

    I love it!

Both rank among my favorites in the jazz genre - definitely essential listening, that's for sure.
