well, tonight i got some beer, and seeing as i had to get it from a gas station this time i had a limited selection of extremely common macros. of course i went for the guinness and blue moon.

tonight i'm drinking guinness. on my third bottle (guinness draught....nitro).....you know, i used to love this stuff....the first time i had it i found it overwhelmingly dark, hefty, and rich.....

now....its drinkable. tastey. refreshing. good. but not GREAT. it seems that lately i've been bombarding my palate with too many craft beers and just REALLY good beers that i would prefer. i'd love to love guinness again, though. i used to absolutely adore it. i still like it but....its not the same....

oh well, can't complain really, its still good....and hell, even better beer can be had for the same price....but what i'd give to trade it for some sammy smith's oatmeal stout...mmmmm....

its ok. far from the best out there though. definitely among the list of "beers i enjoy" but definitely not near the top....

i prefer something more rich, and with a little more "oomph" to it, like strong belgians or even imperial stout....or just richer stouts and porters (such as my three favorite samuel smith's beers....taddy porter, oatmeal stout, and samuel smith's imperial stout)

The young's is awesome, must admit. But man, I was saying that Murphy's was better than Guinness, Not Smiths. The Oatmeal Stout is one of my favorite beer's ever, probably 3rd after Rogues Red & Arrogant Bastard. I went to get some Murphy's and Oatmeal last night, but they were sold out of Oatmeal according to what my friend said, so I just ended up getting 2 4 packs of Murphy cans, but it was worth it, I've always been fond of that beer
