My friend got his paycheck today (technically yesterday,seeing as it is 3 AM), so he and his girlfriend took my boyfriend and I on a double date and treated us to IHOP. Oh lord, I was happy. Breakfast is the best. Especially their sampler platter...soooo many good breakfast foods together at once. I also am a big fan of the Waffle House. Moreso than IHOP because it's way cheaper. Gah...I love places that serve breakfast 24/7, it's the best meal of the day.
I went to an IHOP once. I got some kind of whole grain oatmeal pancakes with warmed apples, cinnamon and whip cream on top. Mmm, was it good.
Cream filled donuts are the only way to go. They're my favorite. I haven't had any in a long time though! Trying to watch my girlish figure you know.
I never have breakfast, because, well, when I am up in the morning, there's never time, and I really don't do mornings often, so everytime we're in Amarillo and have the money, I always request we make a trip to a Waffle House. They have everything I love in one plate for $5.49 or so. I've only been to IHOP three times, but lemme tell you, it's growing on me.
