ok, my mom (who i live with) had this vacation with her side of my family planned to go to a lake house with all 12 cousins, 6 uncles and aunts, and my grandparants and her, me, and my 2 sisters for 6 monthes it has been planned. we dont have alot of money so the last family vacation i had with my mom was 7 years ago for my grandpas 60th birthday. this lake house thing is planned for memorial day weekend. my dad who lives in pittsburg with my step-mom and 2 half-sisters wants me to come up on memorial day weekend to visit him. last time i saw him was in early february and that was only for a day that he was passing through on a buisness trip, before tyhat it was november. so i dont see him alot. since im over 14, legally i get to choose who i want to live with and when i want to visit them. the choice is mine, not my parants. i dont want to live with him since i already have been living here my whole life and dont want to move but i still like visiting my dad. so who should i choose to spend the weekend with? mom or dad? i see my mom every day and my grandparants live 5 minutes walking from my house and all but 1 uncle, 1 aunt, and one cousin, live within 30 min drive. so i see them anytime i want. but since my mom had to pay some of the money to rent the lake house and it has been planned for 6 monthes i feel kinda guilty for wanting to visit my dad over the lake house. plus since my mom was getting pretty upset it made it worse. i hardly ever see my dad so i want to see him, but dont wqant to hurt my moms feelings. so i have come for your guys advice. which do you think i should choose?
when i was younger i wanted to live with my sisters dad(cuz idk mine) instead of my mom and when i did finally live with him i hated it and moved back with my mom but idk y i needed to tell u that lol but yea i would go to ur dads ur mom will understand(hopefully) that u wanna see ur dad im sure there will be another vacation thing for u to go with her on
a quick visit in pittsburgh always does good to you it could be a longer stay in pittsburgh, just for variation don't let your momruin your relationship with your dad...at 15 you need a dad more than you think...
You get to see your mom every single day as well as your grandparents, so I would say dad. Don't get to see him much, and I know what you mean. I'm in the same situation with my dad. Don't let your mom ruin your situation with your dad. She may use the "I raised you and you choose him over me.", but if she has any sense in her head, any reasoning at all, she should understand. yup yup see im not in that kindda situation but i still say dad cuz like ok i never met my dad and never knew him so if i had a chance to go see him i would i love my mom to death and i know she would be ok with it *shrugs* anyways what im sayin is its fine to go see ur dad and yea if she does have any sense in her head she will understand and if she dont haha tough luck she can deal with it
actually no i usually say thats hott(i said that b4 i knew about paris hilton) and i say thats just gay u need to die like now but yea i didnt mean to do that on 2 diff things
