rejecting piercings

    IS there anything that you can so a piercings doesn't get rejected? Ugh maybe Im going to have to give up on piercings and deal with how sensitive my body is.

    It depends what you mean by rejecting. If the piercings get really irritated and won't heal, you may have a metal allergy. Try titanium or gold or high quality surgical stainless steele.

    If you mean its rejecting as in getting pushed to the surface, you can't really stop it once it starts. It is beest to take it out before you have an even bigger scar. You can minimize the chances of true rejection by going to an experienced piercer and using appropriate jewelery.

    I've never had problems w/rejecting, but like ahimsa said, I've heard that titanium is good for that. Good luck, hope you don't have to give up on them...if you're anything like me that would be a huge drag. ;)

    BTW, your hair is bitchin, love the color.

    haha thanks.. yeah I think I am going to try changing the jewellery.. and I did go to an experienced piercer and all that.. It really suckssss.. hah

    even the highest grade stainless (316lvm) still contains about 5% nickel. try titanium like others have mentioned.
