Why is everyone so damn hooked up on racism and hatecrimes? If you mention anything stereotypical or bad about another race, people call you a racist! And if you hit someone who's of another race or who's gay, then it's a hatecrime... Racism is when you think that another race is inferior to yours, and by the way, all violent crimes are hatecrimes! People are different from eachother! That's a fact! And it doesn't mean that one's a racist if one points out those differences, even if it is in a bad way! It should be treated like if you say something funny about your neighbours personality, and not as if you think that a whole race is inferior to you!! But we don't need different laws for different people. If the governments, the law and the people keeps segregating people like this then the world is never gonna be a fair one! Treat all people the same!
exactly but you will see by the days end others will give all these "you dont know unless you are" bla bla bla. Seems alot of people in general always look for excuses for anything to not have to accept themselves for what they are and what they have. I will blame only myself for any and all actions against me and for what I become in this world. I only want to have to hate myself if I have to hate.
The day that we care as little about the color on someones skin as we do about the color of someones eyes, and when the world is only separated by language, that will truly be a day of joy! That's something worth fighting for!
completely off topic....... I think Americans have a tv show called "Family Values". We call it "Family Fortunes". Basic premise "100 people surveyed"..... There was this one guy asked "Name a dangerous race". The idea being that he might say something like "the indy 500" or "le mans" etc...... Actual answer he gave "The Arabs".
Maybe you've forgotten that some people really believe that the country they were born in is "theirs". They forget that national identity is a blind so that you dont see the ecconomy and how people are being ripped off. This leads to frustration for those who see economic migrants and people of other races as competitors rather than as comrades. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it works something like that

My best friends are white and think the whole world is against them, 2 of them anyway. they say everybody hates white people. But I'll shoot back with the typical "you haven't really experienced racisim cuz you're white." Our media is also racist and nationalist. We didn't hear (largely) about Darfur until George Clooney and Angelina Jolie mentioned it. Thousands of people in Africa, mass genocide..but we hear about ONE rich white girl who is possibly killed in Aruba. Seems a bit ublananced (If I were her mother I would fight to keep her name alive in the media also, and do not hold this against her. It is just something to consider. Hundreds of children go missing every day in this country and ONE girl rivals a hurricane for airtime...) We hear about our soldiers being killed (and rightly so, this is a disgusting war) but we rarely hear of Iraqi casualties. I wonder how people feel about the value of a white American child as opposed to an Iraqi child... it is just something to consider.
I understand that point, but my point is that you shouldn't WANT to call someone a racist name in the first place. I think you need to carefully re-read my post. I clearly stated that racism is not acceptable from or towards any race.
You forgot the MOBO awards (music of black origin). And to be honest I agree with you and if that makes me a hick (living in Scotland) then so be it. I'm a hick. Reading the news every morning to hear that the police are looking for black youths who committed some heinous crime. I'm not going to be too scared to get annoyed by the muslims cheering when a british chopper falls from the sky. There are plenties of people I know who are of different nationalities and many of them I like fine and I don't dislike people just because of the colour of their skin or for their religion but if all English people are drunken football hooligans as so many people seem to believe then all muslims are potential terrorists. There is a muslim trying to prevent himself being deported back to libya from the UK who told every muslim to stand up and fight the west (ie the uk). He was a mastermind of the 9/11 bombings and openly applauded the 7/7 bombings over here. His defence is "at home in libya he could get tortured". Who gives a fuck pal. I hope it hurts. Over the last decade i would say, as the EU expands at5 a increasing rate. this was bound to happen. Hopefully we will settle down and become more coherent as a society. Well i bloody well hope so anyway. It does take both sides to form a common bond: somtimes i think not fully appreciated by some not all of those comeing to this country [uk]. I suspect economic migrants have far less regard to form a better relationship with the host country. rather than those that are seeing it us as a permanent home. I'm very suprised Mr Blair has not come under attack yet. He has made this country a soft touch, right ?. [I don't think so- just enquireing if anybody agrees with that sentiment ?.]
