Polls on forums, are they a waste of time?

Yeah they are. That's why I had to dig up a 2 and a half year old thread. That and it was also the last one on the list.

You had an interesting idea there, so I thought I'd do the same. I went to the last page and commented on the oldest thread.

So when you see a thread titled "should we have a FAQ here about how polls work " on the first page of the topic list, its because I dregded it up from the distant past.
