That's pretty cool. Arabic looks like a beautiful language when scripted, but it has never been a language that has appealed to me enough to learn it.
fountains of nay I wish it will appeal to you someday, Amen =)Peace and loveYours Sincerely, Cat Stevens
Tunisia is one of the most annoying countries I ever visited, so for me to go and learn Arabic there is most unlikely. But why is this posted in the Asia subforum?
hellopeopleI don't know where you live, Maybe there is a centre to teach Arabic around you somewhere, you can learn the language online too =) Peace and loveYours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Well in some Muslim countries if they knew you were Israeli they probably would kill you. If I was Israeli I'd avoid most muslim countries.
Salaam Alaykum CatStevens, Kayf Halik? I spent 3 months in Jordan last year, and before that I became Muslim and Islam is all about peace and community, I think out of all the religions it follows that way in practice, not just in theory! It has a way of bringing people together from all walks of life..Anyways just wanted to say Marhaba. Do you live in Tunisia? I would love to visit the country and also Algeria. I am planning on heading back to the Middle East and check out North Africa sometime later in this year to find work and hopefully , Insh'allah get a visa for one of the countries so I can stay there for many years. I think Arabic is a jameel language, and I am learning more and more , building up from what I know of the Qu'ran and what I learned during my months in Jordan. Arabic people and Muslims are some of the most friendly and hospitable people on the planet. Maa' Salaameh, -Abdullah

Sabal Khayer Brother. Shukran Qwayis, Al Hamdulillah. Ahlan Feek. The Imam chose the name Abdullah for me when I became Muslim. I really miss the Moslem countries, my Bedouin friends are always asking when I am coming back, but for now I am finding work and spending time with my brothers here in the masjid in Canada. Ehadina Assiratta Al Mustakeem. Insh'allah I find work and also take free Arabic classes offered by one brother here to expand on the language. Turkey is a very nice country, I was there in Istanbul for 10 days last year and it is very beautiful and friendly people, I highly recommend it. Eela Laykah, Abdullah
