always start out with the lowest www.Erowid.org dose - and work your way up. and never eyeball RC's - always use a precise scale. play safe and stay in school
i wouldnt worry too much about overdosing and 2ci - I have gone up to 40mg with no real problems - the visuals will increase quite a bit as well as duration but no new negative effects to speak of. 20mg is fine. I wouldnt say that it is as dose-sensitive as 2cb. My friend who did 60mg said it "was a bit much".
haha I remember when I had 2c-i I would just eye ball every dose, I have friends who took way over 100mg, I snorted 60mg on a hit of accid, wow was that amazing but I perfer other things, I dont like the 2c-i body load.
There have been reports of people ordering 2C-I and receiving DOI instead. An average 2C-I dose of DOI would send most folks to hospital, and an "eyeball" dose could do worse. Always use a scale, and always test your substance at very, very low dosages initially.
I knew what it wqas, I can tell the difference by taste and the look of it. and I did 15mg the first time which would not be a doi nor doc OD. I have a scale but with 2c-i the dosge is so wide it can be eye balled.
15mg DOI would leave most folks VERY uncomfortable. For days. (some of us have jobs, you know) I'm not suggesting you don't know your limits, but I'm very uncomfortable with leaving the impression (there's a lot of folks on this board who're lax with their mental hygeine) that it would be OK to go wide on any compound whose basic dosage is <50mg....
Yea I could not take 15mg of DOI nor DOC, would leave my body way to tore up for days, cant handle the shit anymore but oh do I love my 2c-b.
ive taken both substances. lots of 2c-i and a very bad run in with DOI/DOB (this was on blotter). I can tell you that you would know the difference between 2c-i and DOI. First of all 2c-i is very easy to eyeball. If you eyeball correctly. If you have a decent scale, just measure out 200 mg(0.2grams) and then divide that out into 10 identical piles. You have an eyeballed dose of 20mg of 2c-i (standard dose). 20mg is a decent trip. Its a good 8 hr ride or so. If you got some dank you can go for a good 12 hrs. DOI however is really wierd, I bought a 5 strip of what i thought was LSD, gave half of it to a friend and ate the other half, I was tripping for 48+ hrs. This was DOI on PAPER. It was really bitter and had a chemical taste very similar to 2c-*. Eyeballing 2c-i doses is not really dangerous. Just be prepared for a cracked out, uppity trip. 2c-i is a fun little substances, but i feel as though it has very little spiritual value.

Do you mean you would know the difference if you TOOK it or if you GOT some? Because as far as I know, DOI and DOC in their HCl form look similar enough that you could make that mistake. Imagine 20mg of DOI. No fun! 2C-I has a reasonably forgiving dose-response curve, but to say that eyeballing doses is no problem is pretty irresponsible.
