getting a VaporBrothers Fixed.

Hey there, I got a crack on my vaporbrothers. Its the newest style GNES.... I went to the headshop I bought it at. and the guy sold me a "Glass Condom" to fix it. He said that I could just do it myself and it would be okay. But after further investigation about the matter, I realized that, well, that part would not only, not work, but there was no way I was gunna beable to fix this myself. LOL.
I bought the thing like a month ago, so its still under warrenty.
I emailed the VaporBrothers guys but have yet to hear back (I emailed them over the weekend, and figured they werent open over the weekend, but now that its monday afternoon, im kinda suprised I havent heard back yet.
Anyway, I live out in Los Angeles, and I heard theres a repair shop somewhere out here, but I dont know where. I really wanna go ahead and get this thing fixed cause this is basicly the only smoking aparatus I use, so....
If you know anything about VaporBros when it comes to getting them fixed, please lemme know...
Does it take a while? Might I have to mail it in?

It may be hard to mail something in with pot resin on it... :-/

 

Actualy, they tell you to send it via USPS or FedEx.
Thing is tho, this vaporizer is so clean (I donno if its me, or if its just vaporizers in general) that I would feal okay with it being sent in the mail.
I got an e-mail from them back like, 10 minutes ago. The repair place is in Torrance, which isnt far from me.
So I just shot them off another e-mail asking if I could just drop it off, im waiting for a responce, butim probably just gunna go ahead and drive down there tommorrow just to drop it off cause I dont wanna have to deal with the hassal of the mail.

 

When bought mine they told me they were very good about their warrenty, just don't send the whip with the vap cause it will probably get sniffed out. I would wipe the box down with a damp cloth just to make sure you don't have any resiny fingerprints all over it, and make sure to include your receipt.

 

thanks for the info. I was actualy gunna do that, but use rubbing achohol as well, then I was gunna bag it, then wipe down the bag with more alchohol, and then bag it again. that way you can be sure nothing could be sniffed out on it.
I talked to them a few more times, and they said I cant drop it off, but I can have them overnight it back to me. So I might have them do that..

But first tho, before I send her off. Im gunna get a few more awsome hits...

 

I'm in the exact same situation you were. New style hands-free, about a month old, and the glass shroud (condom) cracked in half, seemingly out of nowhere. How long did it take you get yours back from the repair shop? Did you send your original receipt or a copy of it? Did they charge you for the overnight shipping back to you? Kinda in the dark here...

Man, the whole thing just seems like a pain in the ass. Oh well, at least it'll get fixed... right?
