what are peoples views on this . i have booked in with someone who im paying to do my dreads. anyone had past experience or know of anyone who's done that before..if so...would you say they turned out better or worse than doing them yourself ?
Mine, done naturally, only took about four or five months to dread up. They aren't perfect, but they are locks...who wants "perfect" hair anyway? It's about the journey. Not the destination.

I had mine started but the journey is still mine. I have not touched them in about 2 months. It's up to you. It's your hair.

no getting em done is just a waste of money! you could comb em in yourself just aswell.. or go natural
i like the way neater thinner dreads look. When I had dreads i did them myself. If i had them again i would consider having someone do them
It may look better depending on if you are trying to fit a certain look or image, and are impatient. But if you arent, I say it's a waste of money.
