not usually.... anchovies are fish, and a lot of times there are eggs in it.

I don't think Hidden Valley ceaser has any meaty stuff in it. Mostly, you just want to watch out for the ceaser with the chunks in it... that is most likely anchovies or something.

That's not always true. many times the chunkiness is garlic or cheese. You can almost bet that there are anchovies in a Caesar dressing when you order it.
Do not fear, however. This recipe is delicious. I add vegan parm.

Use this, cook up some morningstar farms chik'n strips....mmm "chicken" caesar salad. Don't skimp on the freshly ground pepper either.

You can get veg worcestershire too though.

    Roxie55-
Hang in there and get a cookbook. I promise it is SO worth it once you get the hang of it. Don't depend on dairy and eggs to get your protein and try something new every week (new fruit or vegetable or style of cooking)
    theppk.com is a great resource!

yeah try the Post Punk Kitchen instead. They are great!

I think Food Network and other networks like that would get a bigger fanbase with more vegetarian friendly programming. I have seen Tofurkey mentioned on Food Network, and several vegetarian meals, but altogether they rely heavily on animal products.
Maybe more people would eat veg if cooking shows showed them how to properly cook vegetarian meals.

uhhh that would be flavored soy sauce. it sort of fills the gap, but it's NOT worchestershire.

Crap! I lied; Hidden Valley caeser dressing DOES have anchovies in it. Foudn that out the other day and was quite disgusted with myself for being so sure that I was right without scrutinizing the ingredient list really well.
