Mind you, I wouldn't mind BBQ (munchies), I just got home at 5pm and pulled a few gravs, but it's raining and it's to celebrate someone's percussion recital at the courthouse. It's not really invitation I think.... if it is, I'll pretend I'm supposed to be there. I live just down the block from the county seat.
Heck yes, cowboy. I've actually only had halibut once, but I can walk down the street and catch flounder anytime.
its so good fresh. haha i'm starting to get sick of it though. i got tons of it free from a buddy who was fishing it commercially but doesn't like it.
Yeah, it's like that around here... Most people will pay $20 a quart for oysters after Katrina's prices, but I just go down to the docks and get them for free from friends. I get quarts of oysters for Christmas every year... And all the Flounder I want for a few dollars on squid and carolina rigs.
how can you say halibut sounds unappetizing when you eat "flounder" haha. but no, the only thing in my freezer is about 55 pounds of halibut and half a bottle of vodka.
Well, I didn't... she did. And it's the same thing, only a Halibut can severely injure a grown man and my dad has told me stories of people putting holes in boats while trying to shoot halibut with .45s. Then again, I've had a blacktip attached to my foot, so what do I know.
still. there is no better fish than a pink. except they go bad real fast. they are pretty much only good on the coast.
