Yeah, I have 1 ferret, I use him to catch rabbits to feed my dogs, he's pretty tame but likes to bite me every now and then.

Lol. Between your ferret and dogs, those bunny wabbits stand no chance.

Nor should they, they're a destructive pest.

Killing a rabbit is no different to squatting a fly or roach.

I love ferrets! They are so sleek and weaselly ... I just don't have one because they are sort of expensive to buy, and besides I am not allowed to have them in my city apartment. :(

Knew they could bite, but never knew they could fell rabbits! Wow!

I am not sure what they are. I think they are weasels or similar. Greengoddess, your kids are cute ;)

And people are the most destructive ruthless "pests" on this planet. Rabbits would have to do a hell of a lot more damage to even get to a fraction of what we've done. However you don't see (most of) us killing other people. I am not trying to change your mind, I just feel that the disregard for life is callous and cruel.

    They are like cats actually.
Word on the street is they act funny when you give them catnip, and i feed mine adult cat food. They also act liek cats as far as companionship goes.
My two ferrets are always snuggling up together in the cage and looking after one another and keeping an eye on eachother in the bathtub. But they also enjoy their space from eachother and both of them understand you can't always be together. except at night. they always have to sleep together at night.
it's cute because i'll be sitting at my computer and i'll hear them moving and while oscar has fallen asleep below in the bedding, charlie wakes upo from the hammock and kind of looks around and when he finds oscar he either tries to wake him up or snuggles next to him.

this is oscar and charlie. (oscar being the white, charlie being the brown.)

Ferrets are most closely related to minks, weasles and skunks. And they are a lot like cats. We have had 2 I am thinking of getting another. We had a babay ferret and a kitten at the same time, their antics kept us amused for hours!
Ferrets aren't really rodent like at all. They are very intelligent and can be trained to do all sorts of things, another bonus we have found being in the sticks is that snakes and rodents are terrified of them and just the scent of one (even a descented one) will keep them far from your house.
