I have been watching a free live Collective Soul concert on tv all week-I have never heard of these guys-(but then I don't watch MTV anymore)-They had a huge orchestra behind them and I was totally impressed-shit ' there is hope for the music of this generation after all-that group sounds alot like some 60s groups -they play metal then switch to some easy ballad stuff-I read their lyrics and there good-no gang bang-shoot em up crap-positive messages in their songs-The songs on their newest album are real good-it;s called Youth-and I will buy it-

Yes :) Collective Soul Is Definatly One Of My Favorites! It's A Shame They Never 'Got Big' But None The Less, They Are Still A Great Band =) I Believe They Have Been Around Since Early 90's 93 Or 94 I Believe.

"Hints, Allegations, And Things Left Unsaid" <--- Great Album

They are a group I would like ta see play-very talented these guys-two of them are brothers; I think the lead singer and one of the guitar players-The first time I heard them was on the radio doing the song "feeling Better Now"-great tune-it's on there last album Youth and free to download at Limewire.com-It's nice to hear a fresh sound comin through all the junk--

collective soul was really big in the mainstream back in the early 90's when grunge was big. After grunge faded away around 95 or so they did too in the mainstream anyways, i'm sure they still make awesome music.

I don't know how they sounded in the 90s' but they sound great now-Very tight and good vocals-Not grunge sounding at all-I live in grunge country-Wa.-home of Nirvana-and these guys sound nothing like them-musta switched gears along the way-the new album Youth is real good-

Collective Soul is one of the best groups around today. I'm amazed that they are not appreciated more but popularity is no judge of quality. There is always depth and real soul to their music. Keep spreading the word.
