just got in to arizona yesterday from las vegas, but one of the most devestating things that i thought would not happen, happened... some people broke the window to my car and stole my taylor guitar, my banjo, and my moms suitcase. the banjo was pretty cheap, and my moms cloths werent worth much, but my guitar...i cried so much when i saw that it was stolen ... im kind of over it now, cause apparently insurance is gonna cover it, so i will get a new guitar soon. and whats dones been done, so theres nothing i can do...but man...that guitar had so much sentimental value to me. it was my guitar teachers guitar, and it was soooooooo niice, and i played so many good tunes on it...but now its gone. now i can only hear it in songs i have recorded. imma miss that guitar with all my heart and on top of that, that night after i found out my stuff was stolen, i got very very ill and tossed and turned in bed all night and threw up quite alot...but at least today should be good
oh pauly that's heartbreaking is there any chance they can trace down your guitar? i guess not but don't worry, places that don't seem friendly at first, will become friendly later it's called the unknown logic of the place
Thats what you get for going to the City of sins ......god i promise not too start another religius thread.
please, vegas is nothing like a city of sins, clark county doesn't even have legalized prostitution someone needs to attune their sin holier than though righteousness radar
just gambling and illegal prostits. so basically is a concrete jungle sorrounded by desolated desert . not much fun unless your throwing your doe away in a A.C building with fancy trim.
dave.. Las Vegas is called Sin City, i believe. And yeah, you don't leave anything in your car when you're in Vegas.. or other major cities
see, the thing is though, we have legal prostitutes just up the road a piece, with the gambling, drinking, absence of usuary laws, and all that other fun shit that makes nevada moderatly evil still, not a sin city as there are laws governing the prostitution industry (whereas in say bangcok there are like 12 year old prostitutes who tourists go their expressly for, economic decay, gambling and, just about everything las vegas has that's bad just about a thousand times worse) yeah....... vegas sucks, but "city of sin" no more than any other city it's size
i wasnt arguing.. just pointing out its the nickname of the city. you sound like you want them to change the laws. though, i do believe you can pick up a hooker in the city and drive her out of the city/county limit and then do business.. but i may be wrong. i never tried.
well we filed a report, i gave a description of my guitar. the police said they would search the pawn shops to see if they sold it, cause that would be the first thing they would do. they broke into another car to, so obviously they need the money, not the music or cloths. and i've been to vegas before, and even dispite being sick and getting my stuff jacked, it was a nice place. even before me and my mom went to our room, we contemplated taking our stuff or not. i decided against it, cause we were just to tired and lazy to take them...now i really regret it =/ i think it was cause of our license plate. they knew we were out of towners, and even though we covered up all of our belongings, then still broke into it imma keep my hopes high but im not gonna count on them finding it...
I mean in general, it's fairly ridiculous to say it's anything like sinful when there are people who go to paraguay to fuck 12 year olds there is actually a place online (which is the freakiest website ever) that you can actually buy killing someone, you pay some stupid amount of money, go to some little country, and shoot a "volunteer" in the head please, vegas as sin city, I giggle
thats totally the county i was born in and like i said last nite pauly, im sooo sorry its good the insurance covers it tho.. or else.. that would be reallyyy bad
those little fuckers how could they do that to you pauly some people are just stuuuuuupid aww im sorry pauly ......after all it is las vegas
This is why I tattoo my frickin serials to my forehead or try to memorize them -- because every pawn shop has to file a report to the county sheriff's office after each day to report inventory, at least here, as they're all owned by the same owner. Vegas is full of kitsch.
