So many people complain

Yet so many contribute, repeatedly. Has it ever occured to you people that your repeated attempts to act righteous and put people in their place drive them? Ever thought about the fact that each time you call somebody an asshole, a prick, arrogant, ignorant, annoying, or some other trivial name, you only confirm for them that their attitude and behaviour attracts attention?

I bet most of you have thought about this. In fact, I'm sure this isn't new news to any of you. Especially those of you that are parents. Every last parent in here has probably told their children, "Ignore him/her and they'll stop". Yet every last one of you take the bait and feed the bears every last chance you get. You're too proud and egotistical for it to matter. You'd rather be "right" than have things be the way you say you want them.


Either you're too stupid to understand the simple concept.

He'll prove my point in a moment, but yea alot of people do like the attention, even after they have ran a thread dry they tend to keep on going. Like little hamsters.

Adam, can I ask you a question? You seem angry about something...is there something you need to get off your chest? I'm a good listener. I wasn't meaning that in a bad way. I was just trying to lighten the thread up a little.

 

I didn't mean anything by it either. People seem to assume that everything I say is in an assholish manner. Not that this surprises me at all, but it definitely holds weight.

As far as angry. I'm not. It's obvious when I become angry because I start cursing much more than I usually do. Maybe people on here shouldn't quite take me to heart as much. Afterall, I am just a random guy on the internet.

If you post in a thread, even if it's to put down the topic at hand and the people involved, you've joined in the mess and are just as at fault for the continuation of such nonsense.

This is the meaningless drivel I speak of. This post served no purpose other than to show discontent, or a disliking, about what's being talked about. All it has done, however, is reaffirmed that whether people like it or dislike like it, they will pay attention to it and contribute as well.

I agree, 100%. I have no complaint about the bitching. Like I said, I like a little pointless arguing throughout my day. Keeps the rhetoric skills sharp. I was just "vocalizing" an observation of the sorts.

I'm not wasting anybodies time, at all. Thanks for making my point noticable. People are choosing to read, and choosing to reply. For anybody to say I've wasted their time, is a complete eleviation of personal responsibility. Because I voiced my opinion of an observation, I wasted someones time? Anybody who feels the time they have spent in this thread was a waste of time, wasted their own time. Why blame me for something I had no control over?
