i haven't heard that one, but my favorite Allman Brothers song is either Whippin' Post or Jessica

i knew the Allman Brothers were southern rock, but i didn't really think of them as psychedelic.

In their early days, living together in Macon Ga,band members would often go to a nearby cemetary to jam on acoustic guitars, write songs, etc. The song was named after a headstone near where they hung out.
The thing about somebody screwing a girl on the headstone was a flippant joke made by Duane Allman in a radio interview.

i was about to say...fucking a girl bent over a headstone...that's pretty crazy, man.

    great jam though.

i saw the allmans/derek trucks band/oteil and the peacemakers sunday night.
the allmans put on one of the best live shows.
