Well, for starters, his promise of trashing WTO, NAFTA, and other free trade organizations. Now, morally, this is an excellent idea. But realistically, it is a horrible one. For the first year or so, this would be great. Companies would open factories here, jobs would be plentiful, and it would probably take a huge chunk out of our national debt. But after that year or so, many major corporations would go completely bankrupt, considering they now have to pay over five dollars an hour minimum to workers, as opposed to whatever they pay in other countries. And because sales won't change much, many of these companies will need to ask for loans. And eventually, file for bankrupcy. The stock market would crash again, harder than ever. We would be left in an unbelievable recession. Unless, of course, Kucinich had a plan for this. But I never heard him present one.
companies would not go bankrupt if they lowered there profit margin...then products would be cheaper ...and they would probbly sell more...making the same or more money for a company... or what ever...i love kucinich..i can dream cant i
Uhh, no, products would be more expensive, if not the same. When it costs more money to pay the people who make a product, the price of the product has to go up. Business 101. And what makes you think they would sell more? You mean the 1% or less of people who boycott items made overseas? Yeah, that 1% is a real killer.
I don't really like either of them, and I live in Texas, so theres no reason to vote for Kerry. The only way Bush could lose Texas is if he was caught on camera grabbing a little boys ass.. and only then if it was inside the Alamo. I think I'm going to vote for Kerry anyway, because I think it would be hilarious if Kerry wins a the majority of voters but Bush still gets elected, proving what I've been saying all along about democracy being a sham. I'm also in favor of anything that causes mass rioting.
