women: do you watch porn?

How much? I have had girlfriends that tolerated it, others that wouldn't be interested. Another wanted to meet me at the adult video store before every date. She liked it, I guess. Another one was really into it. I think she liked it more than sex. That's a problem, from my perspective. One other I can think of couldn't stop laughing when she saw it. I was into it more when i was nineteen. I don't think I could be addicted, because it is about 1 percent as good as sex. I usually don't like the energy of the people making it. Also, a lot of times I don't like the men's faces. They get stuck in my head. They're wierd. I really only like the kind where the women seem to be in charge. Not ordering people around in charge, but not being mistreated. When they seem fine with what they're doing. Anyway, i wondered what the girls had to say about it. Do you watch it much? Is that when you're alone, or with your man? I am quite curious. Thank you!

I agree that most porno is not worth watching-however, I do like Japanese and Filipino porn-they have a teenage/young adult kind of theme to them, and tend to be amateurish and romantic-a lot of that type of porn can be really sweet and sexy-you can keep the rest, however. Most other types of porn I consider to be phony and degrading. I also like some American amateur stuff for the same reason that I like the Asian stuff. I only watch it to masturbate when I'm by myself.

 

But, Orgazmik and Ihmurria, it seems like the vibe in a lot of stuff on the internet is like, tricking the girl into sex, exploiting her. Sometimes they pretend not to pay her. Stupid shit. But they're obviously pushing the envelope; in other words, it's more effective for the viewer (it appears) if she really is afraid or embarrassed or degraded.

I would say, none of the stuff they do is necessarily bad. There's nothing they do that two people couldn't do... or that i haven't done. But I think it's the way they do it that is sometimes worrisome. Like, the intent behind it.

Couples role play rape fantasies and the like, for instance, which i think is totally fine. It has nothing to do with actual sexual assault; it's two consenting people. People can role play the power games portrayed in pornography. I have nothing to say about it except, good. But it seems like some of the people making videos are pushing the envelope to the point where, as i mentioned, the vibe is one of fear and degradation. Do you see this stuff? Maybe you have a different take on it. It doesn't bother you. Thanks!

ihmurria, i think you misread my post and got a little defensive. I make no assumptions as to what you watch, when, or how. Hence the question. This is me saying, what's your reaction to this? Do you watch that? Opening a dialogue about it. I was in no way suggesting you watch or like "that" or any other kind of porn. But,, even if you did, you might have a totally different take on it and i might learn something from your post. If i was the type to make assumptions, there would be no need for questions like the ones i've posted.

No i don't think it's strange. That's how i first saw it. I recall that it was, more than anything else (90's videos a friend's older bro had), funny! My friends and i found a lot of opportunity and material for humor. I thought the filmmakers could have exploited situation more. The psychological aspect of arousal... situation, etc. People quickly get desensitized watching two bodies slam together. They should make use of the psychological part of arousal. But, i suppose, the people smart enough to do that are off doing better things. So were left with the bottom of the barrel, artistically speaking, making our porn for us. I've heard that this is different in Japan. That many gifted Japanese filmmakers start out making porn. So maybe that's something to check out...
