i just posted this in the Music forum.. but figured i'd post here for those that dont make it out of the MJ forums... Has anyone heard this CD? its by the Easy Star All-Stars.. its fuckin amazing.. its pink floyd's DSOTM done in DUB!!! im not too huge on dub... but i must say this is a great cd... making DSOTM all that crazier of an album... Money starts out with bong hits and coughing instead of a cash register.. i deffinately suggest downloading this.. or buying it
I'd say it's more of a reggae remix of DSOTM, but I know exactly what you're talking about. I got it off of the iTunes network at school, though I wasn't able to get the entire album. It's pretty tight to chill to.
its a very good album. its more up beat and fun than the origional. though i am a huge fan of floyd, i really have to give props to these guys for doing a great dub album.
I love it. Usually covers of classic songs leave me dissappointed, let alone a whole album, but Easy Star All Stars just nailed it. Not only did they do Floyd all the justice they deserve, but they were so original in doing it.
